Three explosions rocked Mumbai on Wednesday night, killing at least 13 people and wounding dozens more, officials said. The explosion set nerves ajar in India's financial capital, where memories of a major terrorist attack in late 2008 are still alive.
The explosions occurred in a series of 18:45 that people went to dinner or during the ride home after work. The police attributed at least one of the attacks.

One of the blasts took place in the Dadar area in the crowded city center, near a main train station. The other two were in South Mumbai, one of Zaveri Bazaar, the famous jewelry market, and the other on the bustling business district of the Opera, a diamond district.
Mumbai has been on high alert. Indian Home Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram urged the residents and the rest of the nation to remain calm.
Television footage showed a fire shortly after the explosion, a dismembered body on the floor covered in dust and dozens of police, many armed with automatic weapons and flak jackets, trying to restore order.
Dadar in the blast, initial suspicions focused on a meter box at the top of a bus stand, where the explosion occurred. In Zaveri Bazaar, a bomb was hidden under an umbrella, the Mumbai police commissioner Arup Patnaik told reporters. He described the two explosions Zaveri and Opera House as "high intensity".
Pravin Gada, 38, who has a shop near Zaveri Bazaar, said she heard the explosion and thought a building had collapsed. Rushing to investigate, saw glass scattered around a track known for vegetarian snacks right next to a shop selling jewelry equipment.
"I saw six or eight people seriously injured with blood everywhere took up the carpet by locals and taken to hospital in taxis," said Gada. "The bodies were covered in blood. Usually can not see without getting sick at heart lesions, but it was the first time I had seen this type of injury. The skin of some of the wounded had completely disappeared."
The explosions are the first major attack in Bombay from 10 militants besieged the city for a period of 60 hours in November 2008, killing 166 people.
No organization has claimed responsibility for Wednesday's blasts, but suspicion focused on the militant groups in Pakistan and the terrorist organization known as the idea of Indian Mujahideen.
India and Pakistan have recently resumed negotiations on improving relations, which were banned after the attacks that at two luxury hotels in Mumbai 2008, a Jewish center and a busy railway station.
